Ceuta Link Ferry Company

Ceuta Link is the new brand operating the ferry route between Algeciras and Ceuta. It is a spin-off of the historic Naviera Armas Trasmediterránea and will begin operations on October 30, 2026. It focuses exclusively on this route across the Strait of Gibraltar, with daily departures in both directions: Algeciras–Ceuta and Ceuta–Algeciras.

The company builds on the experience of two of Spain’s most historic shipping lines. One is Naviera Armas, founded in 1941 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The other is Compañía Trasmediterránea, founded in 1916 and with more than a century of experience connecting the mainland with the islands and North Africa. The two merged in 2017 to form the Armas Trasmediterránea group.

Ceuta Link aims to be a fast and convenient option for crossing the Strait. It serves those who travel daily between Ceuta and the mainland, as well as residents and tourists. It is also designed for periods of peak demand, such as “Operación Paso del Estrecho” and the peak summer season.

For this route, it uses the Villa de Agaete, a high-speed catamaran that already bears the new brand’s colors. It is equipped to carry passengers and vehicles on a short crossing, with seating areas and an onboard café service.

Ceuta Link currently operates the Algeciras–Ceuta route. Starting October 30, 2026, it will offer daily round-trip service on the Villa de Agaete, a high-speed catamaran designed to cross the Strait quickly and comfortably, carrying both passengers and vehicles.
