Children’s Discount – Travel as a family with Grimaldi Lines

Young travellers are always welcome on board Grimaldi Lines ships! Discover our reduced fares for children, valid all year round on all routes.

What the offer includes

• Children under 3 years of age: travel free on all routes (no seat provided, maximum 2 per cabin).
• Children aged 3 to under 12: 50% discount on the ferry fare on all routes.

The discount does not apply to:

• Fixed charges (or port charges for routes under territorial continuity)
• EU ETS* costs
• On-board services (meals, Wi-Fi, pets in cabin, wellness centre, etc.)
• Age is calculated at the time of departure.

Routes included

The child discount is valid on all Grimaldi Lines routes to/from:

• Sardinia
• Sicily
• Spain
• Greece
• Tunisia

Validity and application

The promotion is valid all year round and is automatically applied when booking on Clickferry, for both Standard and Special fares.

Combination

• The child discount can be combined with:
• Other offers in force at the time of booking
• Agreements, partnerships and other discount codes
• Unless otherwise stated in the terms and conditions of individual offers. 

Cancellations and changes

Standard Fare: tickets are refundable and changeable in accordance with the current terms and conditions.

Special Fare: tickets are non-refundable but can be changed in accordance with the current terms and conditions.

*Pursuant to Directive (EU) 2023/959, maritime transport is included in the EU ETS (European Union Emissions Trading System). From 1 January 2024, the ticket price will include, for each passenger and vehicle, an item called ‘EU ETS costs’, the amount of which varies by route and is neither discountable nor refundable. Public service routes (Naples/Palermo–Cagliari and Civitavecchia–Arbatax/Cagliari, return) are excluded from the EU ETS.
