The Port of Panarea
Panarea is the smallest of the inhabited islands in the Aeolian archipelago, known as the “St. Tropez of the Mediterranean.”
Its port, located in the town of San Pietro, is the only point of access to the island. It connects Panarea with Naples, Milazzo, Palermo, and the other Aeolian Islands. The port is pedestrian-only: cars are not allowed on Panarea.
In the port area, you’ll find ticket offices, restaurants, bars, and small shops. Getting around the island is done by electric vehicle, bicycle, or on foot.
