Port of Sorrento

Sorrento is a world-famous city located on the Sorrento Peninsula, south of the Gulf of Naples, perched on cliffs of volcanic tuff facing Mount Vesuvius.

Its harbor, Marina Piccola, lies at the foot of the cliffs and is accessible by elevator from the city center. It is one of the Gulf’s main tourist hubs and connects Sorrento with Capri, Naples, Ischia, Procida, and the towns of the Amalfi Coast (Positano, Amalfi, Salerno).

It features ferry ticket offices (Alilauro, Caremar, NLG, SNAV, Positano Jet), cafes, restaurants, and parking. Caremar operates the Sorrento–Capri car ferry (with seasonal restrictions). Access from the A3 highway (Castellammare di Stabia exit).
