The Port of Castellammare di Stabia

Castellammare di Stabia is a coastal town located at the foot of Mount Faito, at the southern end of the Gulf of Naples, halfway between Naples and Sorrento.

Its marina, Porto di Castellammare, is a convenient alternative to the Port of Naples for traveling to Capri and the Amalfi Coast, especially for those staying in the southern part of the gulf or coming from Pompeii/Vesuvius. It primarily serves Capri.

The port features ticket offices for the Alilauro Gruson and NLG ferry companies, parking, a café, and a nearby connection to the Circumvesuviana station (the line connecting Naples and Sorrento). Access is via the A3 highway, taking the Castellammare di Stabia exit.
