{"id":67,"date":"2014-11-10T10:43:57","date_gmt":"2014-11-10T09:43:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pontesal.com\/~blogferrys\/?p=67"},"modified":"2015-07-02T11:15:55","modified_gmt":"2015-07-02T10:15:55","slug":"park-guell-el-arte-de-gaudi-al-aire-libre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.clickferry.com\/blog\/park-guell-el-arte-de-gaudi-al-aire-libre\/","title":{"rendered":"Park G\u00fcell, el arte de Gaud\u00ed al aire libre"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ni Parque G\u00fcell ni Parc G\u00fcell, su verdadero nombre es <strong>Park G\u00fcell<\/strong>, ya que su ide\u00f3logo quer\u00eda recrear los parques residenciales brit\u00e1nicos. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.clickferry.com\/es\/puertos\/13\/ferry-a-barcelona\"><strong>Barcelona<\/strong><\/a>, la Ciudad Condal, alberga uno de los parques m\u00e1s conocidos en Espa\u00f1a. Seguro que si le preguntas a alguien por el Park G\u00fcell sabr\u00e1 de qu\u00e9 hablamos. Pero pocas personas conocen la verdadera historia de uno de los emblemas de la ciudad.<\/p>\n<p>Este parque de m\u00e1s de 17 hect\u00e1reas est\u00e1 considerado <strong>Monumento Art\u00edstico<\/strong> desde 1969 y <strong>Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad<\/strong> por la UNESCO desde 1984. Gaud\u00ed quiso que la zona se fundiera con la naturaleza que la rodeaba, de ah\u00ed las ondas y las formas que pretend\u00edan fundirse con los \u00e1rboles y dem\u00e1s vegetaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Obra\u00a0del arquitecto <strong>Antoni Gaud\u00ed <\/strong>por encargo del conde\u00a0<strong><strong>Eusebi G\u00fcell<\/strong> y<\/strong>, comenz\u00f3 a construirse en octubre de 1900. El proyecto original pocos lo conocen: el Park G\u00fcell fue originalmente un proyecto inmobiliario que fracas\u00f3. G\u00fcell encarg\u00f3 a Gaud\u00ed hacer una <strong>urbanizaci\u00f3n para familias acomodadas<\/strong> en una zona de Barcelona llamada la Monta\u00f1a Pelada, una zona inmejorable por sus vistas al mar y a toda la ciudad de Barcelona. En 1904 ya estaban construidos los dos pabellones de la entrada, la escalera, el refugio para coches de caballos, la valla exterior, los viaductos, parte de la explanada y el sistema de evacuaci\u00f3n de aguas. Sin embargo, la venta de parcelas se hizo imposible: las condiciones de venta eran complejas, se trataba de una zona alejada del centro de Barcelona y los precios eran excesivamente elevados. En 1914, en vista del fracaso, se abandonaron las obras. S\u00f3lo se construyeron dos de las 60 casas previstas (la de un abogado amigo de G\u00fcell y Gaud\u00ed y la del propio Gaud\u00ed), adem\u00e1s de una antigua casa se\u00f1orial que ya exist\u00eda en las inmediaciones y que G\u00fcell convirti\u00f3 en su residencia. As\u00ed fue como el Park G\u00fcell se convirti\u00f3 en un <strong>gran jard\u00edn privado<\/strong> de las tres familias residentes all\u00ed, hasta que en 1918, cuando G\u00fcell muri\u00f3, sus familiares ofrecieron el parque al <strong>Ayuntamiento de Barcelona<\/strong>, que lo compr\u00f3 en <strong>1922<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Con la apertura del Park G\u00fcell como parque municipal se modificaron los usos de sus edificaciones originales: la <strong>casa de la familia G\u00fcell<\/strong> se convirti\u00f3 en el <strong>Colegio P\u00fablico Baldiri Reixac;\u00a0<\/strong>La <strong>casa de Gaud\u00ed<\/strong>, donde residi\u00f3 el arquitecto con su padre y su sobrina hasta 1925, funciona actualmente como <strong>Casa Museo Gaud\u00ed; <\/strong>y la <strong>Sala Hip\u00f3stila<\/strong>, tambi\u00e9n conocida como la Sala de las Cien Columnas, que fue construida para que funcionara como <strong>mercado <\/strong>de la zona residencial actualmente sirve como lugar para numerosos conciertos de bandas de m\u00fasica.<\/p>\n<p>En la escalinata de la entrada descansa la escultura de una <strong>salamandra o drag\u00f3n<\/strong>, s\u00edmbolo no s\u00f3lo del parque, sino de la ciudad de Barcelona. No se sabe con exactitud si se trata de una salamandra o de un drag\u00f3n, dado que carece de cola. Existen libros y tesis doctorales al respecto. Una de las versiones m\u00e1s extendidas es que podr\u00eda tratarse de Pit\u00f3n, el drag\u00f3n vencido por Apolo y encerado en el templo de Delfos como guardi\u00e1n de las aguas subterr\u00e1neas, ya que la figura sirve de desag\u00fce del parque.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La Plaza<\/strong> est\u00e1 sin pavimentar porque recoge el agua de las precipitaciones y la canaliza por las columnas, para guardarla en un dep\u00f3sito y utilizarla como regad\u00edo del propio parque.
